Will my stored items be safe and secure?


Yes, absolutely. Our steel storage containers provide excellent durability and protection. All containers are wind and waterproof, ventilated and treated with Grafo Therm insulating anti condensation treatment to keep your possessions dry and protected. Access to our site is with your own access card which operates our smart access gate system. Our site is protected by 24 hour CCTV and has passive infrared security floodlighting and security perimeter fencing.

Can I drive up to my storage unit?

Yes, unlike some other storage facilities you can drive right up to your unit meaning you don't have to carry your items down long passageways. It couldn't be easier!!

How can I pay?

We accept payment by direct debit, debit card, credit card or cheque. No cash accepted as payment.

Do I need to provide my own padlock?

No, we will provide you with your own padlock.

Do I need to insure my items?

Yes your goods must be adequately insured while in storage with us. Check your home/business contents insurance to make sure your goods are covered when in storage. We will need to see proof of this. If not we can provide insurance at a competitive price, please contact us for details.

When can I access my storage space?

You have free and unlimited access to your container 24 hours a day, seven days a week. You will be provided with a smart access card to operate the smart access gate system whenever you want.

Do you provide packing materials?

We have a range of packing materials available to purchase from our office, including boxes, bubble wrap, parcel tape etc. Please ask for details.

What is the minimum rental period? Is there a maximum?

The minimum rental period is one month and you can store with us for as long as you want (Discounts offered for long term storage. Please ask for details)

Are there any items I can't put into storage?

We can accept most things for storage but there are some exceptions. We cannot accept

• Explosive or hazardous goods
• Illegal goods
• Vehicle tyres
• Hazardous waste of any kind including asbestos
• Perishable goods
• Chemicals
• Firearms or ammunition
• Toxic waste of any kind
• Pollutants or contaminated goods
• Compressed gasses
• Petrol or any substance subject to combustion
• No livestock

We also do not permit trading from the storage containers (businesses may obviously store their stock items with us though). If you have any concerns about the suitability of any article for storage we will be happy to help.

How quickly can I move in?

You can move in on the same day as you make your enquiry providing that you have the relevant documentation needed to complete and sign your contract. This will include photographic ID and a recent (within 3 months) utility bill or bank statement showing your name and current address. Minimum one months payment in advance - to be made prior to moving in and a refundable deposit equivalent to 1 months rent (excluding VAT & any agreed discount).

What if I need more or less space?

You are welcome to move to another container at any time as and when your requirements change and subject to availability.

Can you help me with my removal to and from storage?

Yes. We offer free van hire (subject to terms & conditions). We can also recommend a local man and a van if you would prefer this service.

How do I end my storage agreement?

We require one week's notice or 1 month's notice if you are a long-term storer of your intention to vacate your storage container. We request that notice be given in writing directly to us (by post or email). When you collect your items we ask that you leave your container empty and clean and any rubbish disposed of. Once your unit has been vacated (on the agreed date) and passed our inspection, we will refund your initial security deposit minus any outstanding fees.

Do you offer any discount schemes?


Yes, for longer term storage requirements of over 6 months plus we can offer a discount for the full payment in advance and FREE 24 hour van hire for moving in (please call to discuss).

Care of containers

Under no circumstances must you fix/ attach anything to the walls, floor or ceiling of the container. You are able to install racking/shelving (available from our shop and we can install for an extra charge) as long as there are no fixings to the unit. We ask you to please take care of the container and treat it as if it were your own.
